1. What Membership Is
HOWL is a private, application-based creative house. Membership grants access to the space, shared resources, and community programming according to your selected tier.
Membership is a license to use the space. It does not create tenancy, ownership, partnership, or employment.
We protect the culture and standard of the house. Membership may be declined, paused, or terminated if those standards are not upheld.
2. Respect for the Space
Members agree to:
Treat the space, furniture, and equipment with care
Leave shared areas clean and reset after use
Respect booking times and shared studio policies
Follow posted safety guidelines
Use the space only for lawful business and creative activity
You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests.
HOWL reserves the right to repair damage and invoice accordingly.
3. Guests + Clients
Members may bring guests or clients according to their tier.
Members are responsible for:
Guest conduct
Any damage caused by guests
Ensuring guests understand filming and privacy guidelines
Guests may not use the space independently without an active member present.
4. Conduct + Culture
HOWL is a professional environment.
We do not tolerate:
Harassment
Discrimination
Unsafe behavior
Disruptive conduct
Inappropriate advances
Unauthorized commercial activity
We prioritize safety and professionalism. Violation of conduct standards may result in immediate termination without refund.
5. Liability Basics
By joining, members acknowledge:
Creative work involves equipment, movement, and inherent risk
You assume responsibility for your own equipment and belongings
HOWL is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items
You are responsible for carrying appropriate insurance for your business
Members release House of West LLC from liability for injuries or damages except in cases of proven gross negligence.
6. Equipment + Shared Resources
Some equipment and tools may be shared or available for booking.
Members agree to:
Use equipment properly
Report damage immediately
Not remove items from the premises without written permission
Return items in the condition received
Replacement or repair costs may be charged for misuse or negligence.
7. Studio Bookings + Overtime
Studios and production areas must be booked in advance.
Members must:
Start and end on time
Reset the space
Pay applicable overage fees if they exceed their reserved time
Repeated booking violations may result in restricted access.
8. Content Capture + Privacy
HOWL is a working creative environment. Content may be captured in the space during:
Events
Open house moments
Member programming
Behind-the-scenes documentation
By entering the space, you acknowledge that:
You may appear incidentally in photo or video documentation
HOWL may use general space imagery for marketing and promotional purposes
If you require confidentiality for a specific shoot, you must notify HOWL in advance so arrangements can be made.
Members may not film other members’ work without permission.
9. Confidential Work
Respect creative privacy.
Members agree to:
Not share or photograph another member’s work without consent
Not disclose confidential information overheard in the space
Protect client materials and intellectual property
HOWL is not responsible for disputes between members regarding creative ownership.
10. Payment + Terms
Membership fees are due according to your selected tier.
Late payments may result in suspended access
Memberships are non-transferable
Refunds are not provided except where required by law
Changes to tiers must follow notice requirements outlined in your agreement.
11. Termination
Membership may be terminated if:
Conduct standards are violated
Payment obligations are not met
The space is used unlawfully
The culture or safety of the house is compromised
HOWL reserves the right to protect the integrity of the space and community.
12. Founding Memberships
Founding Members may receive:
Locked-in pricing
Priority access to new locations
Early access to programming
Specific benefits are outlined in your signed agreement.
13. Final Understanding
HOWL exists to elevate creative work and protect the people making it.
Membership is built on mutual respect, professionalism, and shared responsibility. If you treat the house like it matters, it will support you in return.
